Cure name: Cure Bel Canto

Attacks:

Melodic Barrage: Bel Canto summons several balls of energy shaped as music notes and hurls them at the enemy.

Stave Strike: Conjures up music staves to impale his enemy.

Pitch Perfect Rouse: Bel Canto's finishing attack where after the monster is weakened, Bel Canto jumps into it's mouth where he proceeds to purify it from the inside out. Very risky and timely, but he's done it enough times to come out safely.

Personality:
Hayato tries to be a nice guy, but won't tolerate anyone ill-mannered or foolish. He is also a very patient teacher and is actually quite naive when it comes to romance and love. He loves singing, but is afraid of doing it in front of others out of fear of being ridiculed. He works at a five star restaurant that plays live music. There, he acts like a gentleman, even to rude customers that don't deserve it (can't loose his job after all). After hours, he sometimes practices the piano and drums on the restaurant's stage. He also brings home food from the restaurant because he cannot cook for the life of him. He also thougholly enjoys being a Precure because of all the good oportunities that have opened up for him ever since.

Backstory:
Hayato was only 5 when his father left him and his mother. He doesn't remember much about him, or even how he looked like. All he remembers is how badly his mother took it. After that, his mother just sat on the couch drinking. He didn't think much of it until one day, when he came home from elementary school, his mother yelled at him and slapped him. Out of everything she'd done to him, that was the most tame, but the worst that he remembers. After beatings from his mother, Hayato would usually listen to music, any kind really, which oddly enough helped eased the pain. He eventually became enamoured with music so much that he taught himself how to sing and watch tutorials on how to play the piano and the drums (despite not having access to either instrument).

At school however, the other kids didn't take too kindly the fact that he liked singing. They would pick on him and call him a "wuss" or a "pansy" for liking it. As the years went by, Hayato found it was getting harder and harder for music to console him. He had simply suffered through too much abuse at home and school for far too long. One day, he went browsing into an instrument store. He doesn't exactly remember why, but he's glad he did. Because all the way in the back of the store he came across a small white fairy with music notes on his forhead and wearing a cape. The fairy intruced himself as Monotone and, because of his love of music, offered Hayato the chance to become a Precure. It wasn't until a monster attacked the store that Hayato agreed to become one. Monotone handed him a device and instructed him on what to do. He transformed into Cure Bel Canto and sprung into action.

His love of music has heightened since he first became Cure Bel Canto and continues to grow until this day. He is very thankfull for Monotone, despite the fairy being very bland and not caring very much about him when he's not transformed. He's even gotten the chance to meet two other Cures and form a group called Pitch Perfect Precure, and later met what they consider their little sister, Wakana.

Due to certain currcumstances however, he and Wakana had to move elsewhere while the other two Cures on his team fight their enemies.
